My friend sends me an invitation, I press the PS button, firends, messages, recibed and I go to join. It says joining ( or something like that ) and then it says: “Unable to join game session”. My NAT type is MODERATE. What´s wrong?

you need to put your ps3 into a DMZ using your router, plenty of websites that will teach you this or open ps3 and mw3 ports by port forwarding. then you will have open NAT and should be able to join any 1

Yeah! Put your PS3 in your routers DMZ. Go to your internet connection status list and write down all of the ip addresses you have. They should be something like 192.168.1.1, 255.255.255.0, 192.162.1.0, 192.162.1.0, 0.0.0.0 Now login to your router. Go to wireless settings>DMZ>Enable DMZ (Some routers DMZ is located in firewall / security settings). Now this is where the number you wrote down come in handy. Using the first set of numbers in the DMZ but change the last combination to .25 or .50 so it would be like 192.168.1.25, 255.255.255.0, 192.162.1.0, 192.162.1.0, 0.0.0.0 (Note: Some gaming routers do not require these numbers as the gaming system can be selected through a drop box). Now go back to your playstation and Select Custom Network settings go through these steps and when you come across your IP setting type in the set of numbers you have after you set the DMZ (192.168.1.25, 255.255.255.0, 192.162.1.0, 192.162.1.0, 0.0.0.0) or what ever the numbers are the your router uses. I hope this helps. I am always trying to help people I meet with this problem. Users with moderate or strict NAT types really mess up the gameplay.
