Modern Warfare 3 Map Pack Names & Date Revealed?
It is rumored that Modern Prestige has revealed the names of maps for Modern Warfare 3′s first map pack. The names are Nostalgic, Concrete, Italy, Morning Wood, Overwatch (Spec Ops map from Modern Warfare 2) and Park.
It has been speculated that Infinity Ward is working on a map pack that will be released just in time for Christmas that would include at least two maps from Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2.

Its simple people, you work you get paid so spend your money as you please. Elite was 50 bucks, and you get some camo, titles, founder status, info on how to compete/register for prizes etc, plus you get all the dlcs. So if 3 dlcs drop at 15 a pop its only 45 bucks, which isnt bad, so that means im paying only 5 bucks for Elite (Iphone app, comes, double xp, etc etc…worth every penny). Again it is what it is, you want to play just pay and move on and enjoy.

No there are nine drops. That don’t mean they drop the whole pack at once numb nuts. It just means they will take three map packs and divide them over nine months. Meaning 1 to 2 maps a month plus some drops might not even contain maps. Some might just have emblems and titles. Some drops might just b spec op missions. Activision always finds dumb ppl to milk for money they will never lose money on anyone.

OMG…I swear, some people astound me. “I Hate Bill” you are a fool who hasn’t read up on anything about MW3. There will be 9 different DLC packs over the next nine months. 4 of those packs will be map packs ($15 x 4 = $60). The other 5 DLC packs will be Spec Ops, weapons, camo, and/or other things because they haven’t defined what the packs would contain. Either way, the price of Elite more than pays for the FOUR maps packs alone.
I also hate when people feel they are entitled to free stuff. There are developers and programmers working to bring that stuff to us, some they did before release, but chose to hold for DLC…good for them. It is their product to sell and our job is to decide if it is worth buying. They don’t OWE you anything. I love DLC because I can decide for myself if I want to add to my game experience or not. I really get tired of reading foolish whining online all the time. Maybe when I was a child I was a hater, too…but then I got an arrow in the knee.

How about you all stop being fucking retards and go read up. There will be 9 DLC drops, 1 a month, FOR PREMIUM ELITE MEMBERS. We will get the same DLC as non elite members, but we get it slightly sooner and split up.
In all they said those who don’t have ELITE and would buy all the DLC, would end up spending 60$ on DLC, which leads me to believe there will be 4 packs. Elite members will just have them split up and we will get them sooner than non elite members. And they did not say it would only be map packs. Everyone just stop complaining!!! Whether its $50, $60, or $135, it’s not a whole lot of money. It shouldn’t be that much of a problem but if it is for you, don’t get the dlc. Instead.. you should sell your xbox along with the games, controller, and the tv you play on so that you can have time to get off your asses and go to school or get a job!!! Then one day when $135 is just like a $5 bill to you, you can buy the xbox 720 and all the games and dlc that you want! Now.. whoever wants to listen to my advice, I will buy all of those things from you for 85% of the brand new store price as long as you have a tv 240hz or faster. I work at GAME in England who are the biggest game retailer in the country.
Over here ELITE sells for £35 or 4000 points.
We have been told that the content released for MW3 will cost 10800 points if bought separately (around £85).
So if you are going to get all of the DLC you will be advised to get Elite.

They are releasing 2 map packs soon. I am a founder and paid for membership for elite. They will be dropping map packs every couple of months. If yoiu paid for elite they are included. If not then you have to buy them seperate. Also the rumor of the map packs are from previous COD games is false. Idk where this guy gets his info but he’s wrong. The first two names of the map packs are Piazza and Liberation.

And honestly, I make roughly that in an hour at work. So for those with Elite, thank you, because you are the ones who tell us what to expect of the map before we are able to buy it. For those without Elite, no worries, its 10 dollars look around the Walmart building for some dropped dollars if you’re really gonna go bankrupt and die from it.

I was screaming rip off from the start,but the way i see it…is yeah they say 9 map packs within the year…it seems a little far fetched…but if they don’t #1 there’s gonna be a lot of pissed off people out there that’s gonna scream false advertizement #2 They run a risk of loosing a lot of their customers and not to mention lawsuits that will be brought to their business #3 all the elite subscribers such as myself…won’t fall for the same trick twice…so they better live by their word…or lose my business…So I wouldn’t say its a rip off just yet…the only way to tell is to wait it out…The truth in the matter is…this is America…everyone tries to earn a buck any way they can…(for example)Gas prices go up every month..does that mean you don’t drive your car anymore??? And any way you do the math…the outcome is the same…$5 difference..but what non elite subscribers don’t realize is…its MARCH!!!! Why haven’t you been able to download map packs yet??? The reason is…they release them in sets of 4…so that means you have to wait until April to play the new maps….then your gonna have to wait 4 more months to get new maps while elite members get maps monthly…So while your screaming and ranting about $5 difference(in the long run)…people are playing the new maps…and your on this web site complaining…just spring the $50..your gonna spend money on the maps eventually…might as well get new maps every month…and at the end of the year..if the promises aren’t kept…your only out $5 and you may have a lawsuit claim…which would result in more then $50.

There is not 9 map packs there are 4 map packs and there are 20 pieces of content including the map packs. I would know this because, I work at a GameStop and I get updated with all the games at my store in case I need to inform someone like yourself.

Just so you all know, the ones who say paying for elite will not recieve the map packs free… Your wrong we who signed for premium elite paid 50 usd for a year subscription and recieve all new dlc content concerning mw3 free of charge as long as our subscription is paid for. So in the long run i pay less than you do for my map packs. If you were less estatic about getting into te game itself and did a little online reading you would have already known this. All of those who are butthurt and complain about having to pay for extra content bite your tongues. Unless of course you alone are going to pay activision and all affiliated companies and its employees for drafting and designing the content and keeping servers running and up to date. Count your lucky stars releasing companies dont charge you more for said content.
