Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer has been explained below. Some of the features are from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but there are also new multiplayer features added to Modern Warfare 3.
- Each Prestige now has 80 levels; there are 10 Prestiges
- New, changed and removed perks, as well as the re-inclusion of Overkill.
- Weapon Proficiencies allow for further class and weapon customization.
- Each weapon now has its own individual rank (known as Weapon Level) and in order to level up the weapon a player needs to use it to unlock its attachments, proficiencies and challenges.
- Camouflage can now be applied to secondary weapons.
- The Strike Chain, with 3 different Strike Packages for pointstreaks to choose from: Assault, Support, and Specialist.
- Two new gametypes called Kill Confirmed and Team Defender.
- Players have the ability to scroll pointstreak rewards.
- There is now a visible pointstreak counter included in the HUD.
- Players’ pointstreaks restart after their third pointstreak reward is reached (no need to die to start it over).
- Private matches now have a variety of pre-set custom gamemodes.
- There will be 16 multiplayer maps on the disc upon release, and each one of them is also playable in Spec Ops Survival Mode.
Every time a player enters Prestige mode they may choose one of the following rewards from the Prestige Shop:
- Extra custom class
- Reset all stats
- Double XP
- Double weapon XP
- Unlock gear
- Challenges 1
- Challenges 2
- Challenges 3
- Title and emblem 1
- Title and emblem 2
- Title and emblem 3

If you actually tried playing COD: BO on the Wii you’d realise that its actually harder and more fun than with a PS3 or XBOX.
Sure, the graphics arent as great, you can’t customize a few things, some killstreaks aren’t provided l(i.e. valkyrie rockets, etc.), and you don’t get any other zombie maps other than Kino Der Toten. But in all honesty, the graphics dont need to be that great – Super Mario did and is doing just fine with it’s 8-bit looking pixels.
IMO, the graphics on the PS3 and XBOX are too distracting unlike the Wii. It’s already pretty detailed down to the little pictures on the wall and PS3 and XBOX just show every single detail down to showing clumps of snow on things. I personally feel you don’t need all that jazz in a video game. It’s nice, but distracting.
Also, the Wii requires you to physically learn how to aim with your hand using the WiiMote (you can always buy a classic controller if you don’t enjoy it), but I feel that this allows you to control the aiming better and takes more skill than having to use a joystick. Again, IMO.
Lastly, I’m glad they have COD for the Wii nowadays, because let’s face it: the other consoles are way out of my budget range not to mention I stole my Wii from my little sister. There are people out there that either have bought a Wii for their child and were happy to find that they released a good game for the Wii for themselves to play or people like me that have little sisters that were given a Wii as a gift and don’t live at home due to parents being divorced. So in end, we steal the Wii.
But Im ready to upgrade to MW3 and am awaiting the release date!

theres no color.people dont get your hopes up. this game was fixed base on black ops and blacks ops is a piece of ass. might suck also because they took away the complex maps.the maps are way to simple.plus theres no FAMAS,F2000,FAL,OR TAR 21.not to mention NNNNNNOOOOOOOO ZOMBIES.

well i hope they give the PC gamers what they want or it will fail just like mw2 and black ops pos, dedi servers, mod tools early…. not haveing to wait for 10 DLC packs come out to get mod tools, right …. wtf give us what we are suppost to get for PC like cod4.. best cod ever made, n cod2, cod1….. if not this game will end up being another fail, like it probely will, anyways, it looks like mw2 reskind if ya ask me, and one more thing the survival mode is a fucking hoax…. that right there is a fucking cod4 zombie mod remade,with humans, for the guys that has playd that mod on cod4…… we PC guys created………

Specialist strike chain too strong. Should need 4 kills for every extra perk, not 2. Assassin perk pro too strong. Immune to counter UAV & EMP should be a whole new perk as it’s own.

Stop hating on the wii. just because we dont have as good of graphics and maybe somethings are taken out, the game will still be better on wii. its alot more fun and definitally harder to play. im sure any person that tries to play thats never played it before will suck ass. so dont ever say it sucks or wii isnt even a system until youve tried it. i dont sit here and hate on ps3 and xbox al the time. i mean i like the systems but i would just rather play wii.
